HOW WE WORK


From the time we take your application we want you to understand and feel comfortable throughout the process. Here is how the process works...

Application
Submit your application online and a representative will contact you within 24 hours, or for faster service call the toll free number and speak directly with one of our representatives.

Consultation
You will speak directly to one of our experts who will listen to your story, explain your options and get you started.

Documentation
Time to gather important documents such as: mortgage statements, bank statements, disclosures and other important financial documents, but don’t worry; we will give you a list of everything we need.

Analysis
Once you return all of the requested documents, we will review everything and call you with an assessment of your situation. During that call, we may ask you more questions or request some additional documents as part of our effort to prepare a complete picture of your situation prior to approaching your lender. If it is determined that you are a good candidate for a loan modification we will explain your options and how you can proceed.

Processing
We have a well qualified team of processors who will be assisting you with your modification. Nexus Advantage Services will deliver your well prepared package directly to the lender. The final package we present can be 30-50 pages in length and will be prepared in a manner to help the lender expedite this process.

Negotiations
Armed with a complete file and a thorough understanding of your circumstances, our negotiators , will call your lender and start the negotiation process. The process can take anywhere from five to twelve weeks, with much back and forth negotiating. The time it takes to reach a final agreement will vary depending on your lender and their servicing agent and the specifics of your situation.

Approval
You will be notified of the lenders loan modification approval. At this point you will be asked to sign the loan modification documents and once they are received by the lenders servicing agent your new agreement is officially in place. The joy of home-ownership will be yours once again.
